This weeks moans.

Well I can moan now about the media campaign to put George Bush out of office as I suspected all along it was a good luck story that was doomed to failure from day one. Wars win elections. The Americans had no intention of backing down from the threat of terrorists and the world is not a less safe place under president Bush. The people who threaten America are ignorant in the extreme and at least naive to think they can gain anything from such actions. If they have a just cause to fight then they need to shake hands with the worlds leaders and work with them in an effort to bring democratic justice to all. World markets decide all our fate. In the end it's money that runs things and not fare play. We have many disasters ahead yet to confront from earth quakes to climate change and these challenges are not being ignored. If the American people had listened to people like Claire short and voted Mr. Kerry into office the terrorists would be celebrating a victory similar to the recent change of Government in Spain after the atrocities of the train bombings in that country.

Claire does it again.

Why can't we get away from all this anti Blair spin which only really serves to reaffirm the British electorate's general opinion that we have a man in charge of the country with the ability to get things done?  Instead of us discussing what is good about post Tory politics and economic stability we are in danger of turning into a nation of cynics.  Life in Britain and Europe has improved dramatically since Labour came to office. The only thing that it isn't so easy to do these days is sit back and live off the interest from your accrued capital. Anyone who has ever served in the forces or the civil service will be astonished at why such a seemingly obvious breach of the official secrets act and such incompetence can come from an x government minister. But what can you do with an old Labour rebel with a heart much bigger than her head when she can still conjure up support from left wing idealistic policies that would simply heed progress. I think Blair did the only thing he could do and put her into a situation where she was faced with the realities of world politics and she simply wasn't up to the job. People like Claire don't just go away quietly though. I fear we'll have to listen to her rants for a long time to come but she will eventually get to realise that she missed her golden opportunity to get anything done. By the time she eventually goes back to rallying her left wing troupes she will be perceived as about as dangerous and naive a character as Tommy Sheridan and his Scottish Socialist Party. I only hope she doesn't have to go to prison like Tommy to stay in the limelight as I do like this lady and Tommy, although I don't share their political opinions.

Weapons of mass destruction.

Every time you switch on the news you get a load of crap about weapons of mass destruction being an excuse to go to war and the usual shit about how corrupt the Americans are and how Toni Blair has been deceiving us all. Well I couldn't care less if there were ever any weapons of mass destruction and I'm glad that someone has done something to rid the world of another crackpot dictator. It seems to me if we were to leave all our security to the good at heart and the huge bureaucratic organizations that can't agree on anything, we wouldn't be long till we all found ourselves up shit creak without a paddle.

For once I'm proud to be British and I'm seriously questioning the European union and all it stands for. Politics is a necessary evil and I think it's high time we all started to think about getting on with our own lives and counting our blessings. The Americans have come a long way from civil wars to freedom and I think it would be a good thing to remember who the Americans are. They are the offspring of all of our forefathers and not some mindless race of loudmouths with nothing upstairs as some people seem to perceive them. Europe has a long way to go to lace their boots and I think if Europe doesn't improve greatly I'll be another American settler in the future looking for a better life.

Dear Moaners,

Why doesn't anybody moan anymore? Everywhere you go these days you see nothing but happy people, going about their daily business smiling at one another and being nice. Has the government put something in the water supply? Where are all the moaners?

Misery.

I think it's the sunny weather. It's definitely nothing to do with governments. They do charge your water. Higher and higher all the time. Don't worry with an election coming up we'll have plenty to moan about shortly. We've all got to go and vote for a start.

Dear Moaners,

Anne Robinson was only having a bit of fun. Most Welsh people couldn't care less about her comments. "Goodbye."

Welshman.

Well Moaners,

I thought I might get some feedback on Anne Robinson's recent remarks about the Welsh nation. I didn't hear her comments but it seems to have caused quite a stir. It would seem to me that she has made the grave error of trying to be funny when she isn't really capable of being funny. Let's face it, she's a professional moaner and she should have left the comedy to the professional comedian. It just goes to show how your moans can get you into big trouble if they are not based on solid facts. It all goes to prove that she deserves her place in the Moaners Hall of Fame. In fact I used to feel sorry for some of the poor managers of firms she interviewed when she was on watchdog. She does seem to have a natural ability to be obnoxious. As the local saying's go ' Can you imagine going home to her with a broken pay, she hasnae smiled since she had the hives.'

Oh dear there I go doing what I accused her of doing, trying to be funny.  I'll be getting into big trouble next, from the Anne Robinson fan club. Maybe the Welsh nation will back me up in voting for Anne to become this year's Biggest Moaner.

Dear moaners,

I'm fed up with all the nationalism at the moment everywhere you look there seems to be a flag depicting one's own country.  The worst thing Blair ever did was to separate Scotland from England. Ultimately It will cause problems and it's a real shame as the Scots and English have always got on, (except when it comes to football) but that's the same the world over as soon as the match is over it's back to normal.

Shy Talk.

I'm a Scotsman and I've always been a nationalist at heart. The Scots are revered throughout the world. I don't see anything wrong with a bit of nationalism of the right sort. I get your point though. I'm sure the good people of each nation are similar in mind to the people who went before them to make the nation what it is. It is unfortunate that some people are extremists, but I think the modern European can see through all such extreme elements as they exist within the varying mentalities of every nation. I don't believe Tony Blair would be in power today if he had not recognized the real need for people to handle their own affairs locally. Scotland will lead the argument for a more just society. The Tories squandered 20 years of oil revenues prior to this Labour Governments election. Yet the Scots didn't vote nationalist. They voted Labour. I think Tony Blair will be the first Labour Prime Minister in British history to be voted into a second term. And one of the main reasons he will go down in history is for recognizing that nations will only continue to co-operate where a mutual respect is nurtured for one another. All of the peoples of Europe are nationalists at heart yet they each have that gift of knowing that co-operation is the name of the game. And from a business point of view, in a global market you don't give up a brand name like Made in Scotland and label a thing Made in Europe.

 Dear moaners,

I wish that there was no such thing as a designer label for clothing. It's  an absolute con. Why on earth some sad person should pay extra money just to wear a logo letting everybody know how stupid they are, is beyond me. If there were no designer labels around perhaps people would wear clothes that suited them rather than wandering round with their fashion accessories looking totally out of time and place.

Well somebody loves to moan about what others are wearing. Perhaps a sign of insecurity.
Thanks for your moans though, you've started the ball rolling.

Dear moaners,

Isn't it just typical that I've finally resigned myself to living in a constant drizzle and bought myself an umbrella and a new raincoat and the sun has decided to come out.

Not very original. I'm sure you can do much better than that.

Dear Moaners,

Isn't it time the bloody winter was over. Every time I stick my nose out the door  it's either frozen or it's blowing a blizzard. We're just a bunch of Eskimos in this god forsaken wasteland.

Frozen.

I think the central heating must be softening us all up. It was -50c in Siberia last month, that's cold.!!!!!!!!!

Dear Moaners,
How is it that a bunch of moaners can get together and create a site about moaning and all of a sudden it's not worth moaning about anything anymore?

I think it's because of the quality of the moans. I still enjoy moaning and I still think it's worth moaning.  I think the day you stop moaning then that's the day you will start to die off. So just get moaning and get a life. People have got it all wrong. We live in a world full of moaners. The reason most of them never find their voice is because they think they might be challenged to justify their moans, or worse still they think they might have to end up paying to rectify the thing they're moaning about.

  Dear Moaners,
I recently bought a Furby and I can't understand why you have it down as a reason for moaning. I love my Furby and I think people who moan about Furbies are just old moaners who don't know anything. This is my little friend here and if you click him he'll play you a tune.

Feed me I'm a harmless little Furby

Furby lover.
